WV Commerce
West Virginia Dept. of Commerce
www.wvcommerce.org
TCG constructed one Multi-site Content Management System to maintain the West Virginia's Department of Commerce's nine separate division web sites; all wrapped up in one neat package. The site includes a main portal, separate home pages for each agency, audience-targeted landing pages, content pages, an approval dashboard, and more.
Since all nine divisions target unique and wide-ranging audiences, the project presented a challenge to provide a uniform but separate design scheme for each section. TCG has developed a design scheme with a consistent global navigation for the entire system, paired with individual navigation structures for each division. Additionally, colors and fonts are used to help define what part of the Web site a user is visiting.
